Happy Friday!

It's Friday and we're at the local, hole-in-the -wall Mexican restaurant. Daddy has a beer the size of his head. Brady is "drinking" his ice water with his finger, Cate is eating a French fry and fighting w/ her Dad cause she wants to lick the table. Mom is eyeing Dad's beer because they decreased the size of the wine glasses since the last time we came. They still fill in right to the top, though! Good form! Have a good weekend!

One Year Old! Part 1

What's Up Doc?

Baby Cate went to the doctor today for her one year appointment. Here were the stats and some to-do's:

• Height - 29 1/2 inches (63 percentile)
  


• Weight - 20 lbs 14 oz (47 percentile)
  


• Head - 46 1/2 inches (83 percentile) Dad says "good job, Cate, you can stay."



• Activity - she walks, she says 2 words ("hi" and "dah"), she stands on her own, she looks at picture books,
  


• Feeding - she feeds herself w/ her fingers, she's eating all table foods, drinking from a sippy cup, starting to drink whole milk. She eats 3 meals and 2 snacks a day. She can have everything except honey, nuts and seafood.
  


• Sleeping - she sleeps 11 hrs per night with 1 to 2 naps per day depending on the day.
  


• Teeth - she has 4 on top and 2 on the bottom
  


• Problems - she still has that irritated spot on her right cheek and a dry skin patch on her low belly



• To Do: kick the bottle and the formula, brush her teeth, get a new car seat
  


• Tests/Vaccines - blood test (didn't cry), varicella/chicken pox (didn't cry), Prevnar (didn't cry), Hepatitis A (had had enough!)
  


• Next appointment is 15 months
